The Cambridge Advanced Imaging Centre
(CAIC) will be holding it’s first annual meeting on bioimaging research
and applications on Friday 27th March 2015. The purpose of the meeting
is to bring together researchers from all disciplines involved in
microscopy, from the biological questions being studied to those
developing advanced microscopes and those researching data analysis
algorithms.
The day will begin with short talks covering the different imaging
technologies being researched within the University. The afternoon will
then focus on biological questions being studied across the across the
University that benefit, or have the potential to benefit, from advanced
bioimaging and analysis. The day will end with a poster session fuelled
by cake and beverages.
The Schedule will be confirmed closer to the date but will likely be as
follows:
* 9:30 – 10:00 Coffee and registration
* 10:00 – 11:10 Advanced fluorescence imaging session
* 11:10 – 11:30 short break
* 11:30 – 12:15 Image and data analysis session
* 12:15 – 13:15 Lunch
* 13:15 – 14:30 Bioimaging applications session 1
* 14:30 – 14:50 short break
* 14:50 – 16:00 Bioimaging applications session 2
* 16:00 onwards: posters, cake and beverages.
