Speakers
This one-day meeting in Leeds on the 22nd of September 2014 is the fourth LMS meeting on inverse problems in 2014 that brings together UK researchers who work on advancing the field of inverse problems, both from a theoretical and from an applied point of view.
The meeting will concentrate on the problem of tomographic reconstruction from boundary data.
Invited speakers will include:
-
-Thanasis Fokas (University of Cambridge)
-
-Andreas Hauptmann (Helsinki University, Finland)
-
-Tomas Johansson (Linkoping University, Sweden and Aston University, Birmingham)
-
-Brian Sleeman (Universities of Leeds and Dundee)
-
-Kent Wei (Industrial Tomography Systems plc.)
Student Poster Prize
We invite students and other early career researchers to present a poster about their research at the meeting. Please indicate your interest in presenting a poster when registering (see below).
A prize of £100 will be awarded to the best student poster to support travel and accommodation costs.
Registration
Registration for this event is free of charge but for planning issues please write an email toDaniel Lesnic at: D.Lesnic@leeds.ac.uk, including your name, affiliation and (if applicable) an expression of interest for presenting a poster at the meeting.
